Kids say the darndest things.

I just wanted to share with you a few of the things my precious little boy has started saying. Enjoy!

I said, "Let's go to bed", He said "Do you want me to punch you?" Hmmm...let me think about it.

I walked in on him with Betty (our dog) in a headlock, I said "Let her go right now", He said "Get me something to drink and I will." Already has his bargaining down to an art.

I picked him up from school, he says, "I want to give you to someone else." I proceeded to cry internally.

I pick him up from school/day care, he tells me he wants to go to McDonalds, I don't feel like it so I tell him that it is closed, he proceeds to cry his eyes out and then through his tears he says, "My Mom is a liar." Wow, that hurt :(

The following is not meant to offend anyone:

I told Walker to quit moving around in his car seat, he tells me, "I can't, you are driving like a retard." He got that word from his Dad. Note to self: change vocabulary.

Don't get me wrong, I love my little angel more than my own life, but sometimes I worry about the hell he will unleash on me in his teen years. Am I right to think that my smart-mouthed 3 year old is going to be something of a firecracker in his formative years???

"Hell hath no fury like a red-head with a "What are you going to do about it?" attitude." ~Yours Truly

Lazy Days of (Almost) Summer

We will be spending alot of time this summer at my Mom and Dad's fabulous new pool. We have already broke it in pretty well. You will be seeing lots of blog posts about the pool I am sure.

This is my brother trying to drown me like always. He still acts like he is 10 years old when he is around a pool. He threw me in fully clothed and then proceeded to hold me under water. He is so sweet ;)

The guys hanging by the pool.

Big Wes showing he still has skills at almost 30 years of age!

Katie and precious Khloe!

Walker and his Papa!

Part of the pool.

Papa is such a trooper! He let Walker and Katie "draw" him in sidewalk chalk.

Papa and Koko resting on the putting green.

Me and my Koko, we are looking like some divas. :)

And last but not least, my baby decked out for his first swim of the summer, it's not too much is it???

More baseball games...

We went with my in-laws to a Midland Rockhounds game last weekend and Walker had a blast.

So did Wes, me on the other hand, not so much. Guess my love of baseball has dwindled since Wes doesn't play anymore. I'm sure that love will pick back up when/if Walker decides to play baseball. I don't mind watching it when it's someone you know thats playing. But when it's complete strangers it just seems to bore me.
Anywho, I suffered through it ;)
