My challenging little boy :)

Just one picture today of my two favorite guys. I realized that I have been filling my blog with pictures of Kenzie and Khloe and not very many of my child! I will try to do better about that. It's just that the girls let me take their picture and Walker runs off or looks away or just flat out won't let me.
Anywho, Walker has been very "challenging" lately. Not that I'm complaining but he tests me every single day! His two favorite words are "what" and "why". Every single thing I say he says "what'' and then I have to repeat myself and I know he is not hard of hearing. And I know that every 3 year old is going to ask "why'' on every little thing but in the moment it can be quite annoying.
It's easy to blog about it later and think that it was cute and even endearing, but when he is asking 50 times ''why'' I am doing something I tend to lose my patience. ;)
There will be lots of new pics next week as we are getting an addition to our family. Wes and I are getting a puppy for Walker in Dallas this weekend! We are so excited! Our beloved Roxy died when Walker was 10 months old and we have just now felt the need to get another pet. We have already picked one out and we are picking her up on Sunday! She is a Scottish Terrier. And I think we will name her Phoebe, unless her face doesn't look like a Phoebe and then I might change it.
Yall can meet her next week!
Wes and I are having a weekend away in Dallas without Walker to do some shopping and just spend some alone time so I will add my pictures next time!

How wonderful for you guys.. Enjoy those times together. We all need them. No matter how much we love those little fellows, it's nice to have your man all alone.. I did have to laugh at your blog today though. I remember so clearly when Brent was 3 we took him to an ear specialist because I thought he had to be hard of hearing. He said "HUH" after every single thing I said. haha Of course it was just fine. And I hate to tell you he still does it. It's selective hearing.. Someday you will laugh.
